Mission Tanzania Update

For the next two weeks my son and I will be with a team from our church to plant a new church among the Pare people of Tanzania. Last year I had access each evening to a computer and was able to blog about daily events of the mission trip. This year we will be higher up in the Pare Mountains and in a more remote location. Amazingly, Tanzania has pretty good cell service, even when you appear to be in the “middle of nowhere.” So…I am going to attempt to upload real time Twitter updates so that those of you back home can follow our mission trip more closely. Remember that Tanzania is 8 hours ahead of CST here in the U.S.

So check back here and always look to the far right column and you will see the most recent Tweets. Some of them may have (hopefully) pics attached and to view them properly you will need to click the “Follow Me On Twitter” link. Of course this is Africa we are talking about and there is no guarantee this little experiment will work but I will do my best. If nothing posts just keep us in your prayers and we will look forward to being back in the U.S. on August 12.

We embarked on this endeavor to offer the ENTIRE christian community an outlet to join together as one (no matter denomination) and better spread the good word of Christianity. Christian.com has many great features aside from the obvious like christian TV, prayer request or even find a church/receive advice. We have emailed you because we have interest in collaborating with you and your blog to help us spread the good word. I look forward to an email regarding the matter, Thanks!
